Baryon Number Transport, Strangeness Conservation and Ω-hadron Correlations

Although strange quarks are produced in $s\bar{s}$ pairs, the ratio of $\Omega^{-}$ to ${\bar{\Omega}}^{+}$ is greater than one heavy-ion collisions at lower RHIC energies. Thus $\Omega$ hyperons must carry net baryon quantum numbers from colliding nuclei. We present results $K$-$\Omega$ correlations AMPT model simulations Au+Au $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 14.6 GeV, probe dynamics for number transport mid-rapidities this beam energy. use both default and string-melting versions illustrate how hadronization schemes quark coalescence string fragmentations could leave imprints on such correlations. Implications measurements these with STAR experiment will also be discussed.
